The public is divided on the subject of astrological prediction. In truth, both points of view are founded on a misunderstanding of how astrology actually works.
Though it may come as a surprise to devout believers, many astrologers feel that while astrology might disclose your future tendencies, it cannot offer exact forecasts about your future.
If an astrologer predicts that you will be strolling down the street next Tuesday and will trip and fall, fracturing your left wrist as it cracks against a fire hydrant, wouldn’t that be a pretty accurate prediction? But no astrologer ever makes such predictions. More likely, an astrologer would say: There’s a chance you’ll have an accident next Tuesday; be very cautious. Of course, this isn’t a precise forecast, but rather a remark based on astrological methodology about the likelihood of a specific type of event occurring. This is astrology’s fundamental strength: it can’t tell you what will happen (because that’s beyond its capabilities), but it can tell you the chances of certain types of occurrences happening.
It is not possible to forecast the future using astrology. It’s utilized to assist you understand and acquire insight into the patterns and routes your life takes. It’s not a guarantee, but it’s a good starting point. If you don’t like what your astrological or natal charts say about you, you have the power to modify them. Astrology can provide insight into one possible destiny, but there are far too many variables, including your own decisions, to foretell what will happen in the future with any degree of precision.
